Continue with a short summary of the news article. Include what is happening, who is involved and what the impact on the business or organization will be. Look for the 5 W's. These answer Who? What? Where? When? and Why? This is where you provide the background against which the Supervisory concept will be applied. Ask yourself if the writer is educating you with the facts or if he is trying to get you to think a certain way or follow a given action. Look at both sides of the argument. Consider the solutions proposed if he gives any. Add your conclusions and opinions. Based upon your readings this week do you agree with the solutions given in the article. Do the concepts for the week conflict with the information in the article? What is the impact to the organization in the short term and the long term? What should Supervisors within the organization do?
