I have a clock cycle question. What exactly is the difference between clock cycle and clock rate. It looks to me like clock cycle is given in nanoseconds while clock rate is given as 1/clock cycle. For example, if the clock cycle is given as 2.5 nanoseconds, then that would be the clock cycle while clock rate would be 1/2,5 nanoseconds. Is this correct or am I doing this wrong.
