I have learned so many things this week such as the relationship between human rights and health ethics. I have been exposed to the four basic principles that medical ethics are based on which are: Respect for autonomy Beneficence Non-maleficence Justice I know have a deeper understanding that human rights and medical ethics are complementary to each other and this helps in creating maximum protection and care for the patient. I learned that to prevent the provision of substandard services that violates human rights and medical ethics, resources and enabling environment should be provided to healthcare providers.
