I. Is there an ethical issue in the case? Why?

AS Store is the retail sales and distribution centre of a major agricultural produce company called AS Corporation. It is a small store with just 30 employees. They include a President, Vice president, Controller, 2 Accounting clerks, 6 Sales executives, 10 Storekeepers, and 9 truck drivers. Kang Lee, an accounting clerk, has worked there for 10 years and is liked and trusted by everyone. He is responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable. The other accounting clerk, Ahmmed, is new to the company and is in charge of posting sales deals. He thinks Kang Lee is nice but has a "bad feeling" about him. A few weeks ago Ahmmed and Kang Lee had to stay late at work to finish posting entries. Ahmmed noticed that Kang Lee had a lot of cash in his valet. He asked Kang Lee why he had so much cash. Kang Lee was nervous and said that he and his wife were going to buy a new television that night and he took the cash from the ATM during his lunch break. Ahmmed thought that it was a possible reason and never thought about that again. Last week, Ahmmed saw Kang Lee taking five 100 Riyals out of the cash box. Ahmmed asked him what he was doing and Kang Lee said he was exchanging a 500 Riyal note for five 100 's. Yesterday, when Ahmmed was talking to Kang Lee, he again noticed a lot of cash in Kang Lee's jacket pocket. Ahmmed asked him why he had so much cash again. Kang Lee responded with a quick answer saying about winning the money at a race the night before. Ahmmed knows several customers have put cash deposits in the store this week. Also, Kang Lee never said to anyone at work that day that he had won so much money at the race. Ahmmed strongly believes Kang Lee is stealing money from the company
