I need help revising this script to really let the patron know how important a contribution is today to help underprivileged children. It needs to focus on how important our outreach and education programs are for these kids and how a contribution could change their lives. Further, also focuses on the benefits they will receive and how great they are. We need to get them to want to donate $1000/$100 for ten months.
Here is the script that needs revision. Please help! I need to get donations for these underprivileged kids!
Hi, this is Colleen , and I'm calling from the PARAMOUNT & STATESIDE THEATRE. How are doing this ? I am just calling for a couple of quick things. First, I want to thank you so much for being a PART of our audience family. Your presence at our performances and shows means everything to us and we thank you for your support
I noticed that you joined us for SHOW NAME. What was your favorite part of the show? It is really great to hear that our patrons had a memorable time!
The Paramount holds so much history and magic, doesn't it? And we do so much to preserve it in its original state to this day! It is a great experience for all generations!
Additional Facts:The Paramount is such a staple to Austin! Paramount opened its doors on October 11, 1915, and it is absolutely incredible to think back at all the Paramount has seen and been through. In fact, in 1916 the world-famous Harry Houdini performed 8 shows at the Paramount where 5 students from The University of Texas challenged him to escape from a trick of their construction and he did!! His legacy lives on where you can see a carved hole just to the left of Saint Cecilia. This is where he performed a suspended levitation trick. (Question to the patron: Did you get a look at it last time youwere out?) The Paramount has soooo much history to it and we do so much to preserve it in its original state to this day."
The other reason for my call today is that each year, we get to reach out and let people know about the amazing work we are doing off the stage. Most people are unaware, but the Paramount has several outreach and educational programs that have such a significant impact on underprivileged children in the community and Our goal is to reach as many children and families as we can every year and make a meaningful difference in their lives. We are currently helping $22,000 children and families annually in Central Texas, but there are still so many more who could really benefit from our programs
Are you familiar with any of our outreach and educational programs? We have such incredible programs available for these children that range from summer camps and filed trips to songwriting workshops, all with scholarships opportunities!
BUT the one that I am very passionate about is The Paramount Story Wranglers in schools! We bring in professional arts educators into classrooms for a seven-week residency, who work directly with the students teaching them the fundaments of creative wring through arts-integrated lessons. These lessons truly motivate the child to enhance and improve their writing and vocabulary skills and it really gives them such a boost of confidence! They write hundreds of stories and at the end of the residency these children get to see their original stories come to life on stage in a spectacular live performance by our Paramount Story Wranglers in front of the entire school and their families. Doesn't that sound amazing for these children that would not otherwise have access to arts education opportunities?
I can't tell you how much this impacts these kids! It does become a lifelong memory! and the results really speak for themselves! In fact, 100 percent of teachers involved in the program have observed significant improvements in students' writing and social-emotional growth, while nearly all the students' express pride in their writing and expanded vocabulary skills.
Don't you agree that every child deserves arts education that enhances their writing skills, vocabulary and prepares them for their future.
I appreciate your understanding of the importance of such programs.
Here is the thing, we are a non-profit theatre, and we do rely on the generosity of our community to continue offering these life-changing programs like the Paramount Story Wranglers in schools and everything else we have to offer to help these underprivileged children! Your contribution today through our phone campaign would make such a lasting difference in the lives of these kids, and really empower them to unlock their full potential. AND
In return for your support, we have arranged a collection of outstanding benefits for our donors.Especially, if you like movies and films and live performances! We really could use your contribution today! How about it?+
So, I have various levels of giving that all with amazing benefits, and every contribution will have a meaningful impact. Your generosity will help us continue transforming the lives of these children in our community, and no matter the size, it will have a meaningful impact. Would you please help and support us today with a contribution.
Your generosity will make a lasting impact on arts and education in our community.
