For your Application Assignment, you will research and write about a program area specifically for infants, toddlers, and/or their families. The program you select will serve to inform this week's Discussion.

For your paper, please select one of the following programs below. In addition, consider how knowledge of the program you selected is relevant to the role of a child development professional.

Based on the program you have selected, research your topic in order to learn about the program's defining characteristics. Use the following questions to guide your research and form the basis for your paper:

• Where is this program most likely to take place?
• What kinds of policies and practices guide program implementation?
• What population of children and families is this program likely to serve?
• How does this program support young children's development and learning?
• What did you find most intriguing about this program when you were researching it?
• What are you interested in learning more about regarding the program?
