There may be a couple reasons why there sometimes is such a wage gap between a man and a woman.Firstly, when it comes down to it they may have very different occupations.The jobs men work usually pay more such as engineering, finance, surgeons, or construction.Females are more likely to be found as nurses, teaching, cosmetology, dental assistant, etc.

If you're asking me if this justifies a wage gap I would say it depends.If both a man and a woman are in the same field and can seemingly do the same things then I would say they deserve to be paid the same wage.However, a lot of the wage gap seems to be difference in occupation and what is required to do the job.The more that is required of the job the more is usually going to be paid.

The wage gap I suppose implies that a lot of women don't earn what men earn.Some people believe that the wage gap will lead to things like women not being respected workers or having certain biases against women in the workplace.

I would think that women could have it all just like men in the workplace.I believe a woman can have it all and balance work, family, outside activities, etc.However, of course having it all or being a leader in an organization or a large corporation of course will take time away from a lot of personal life if the person is prepared for that which goes for both men and women.

I do believe that there are still cultural norms in place where women want to raise the family or wants to be more part of it while still having a career.So, women are viewed as only able to put so much time into work and the rest may be devoted to family.On the other hand, men are expected to usually be breadwinners and are expected to devote more time to their career/work.

There will be an existence of a pay gap in the community where biases and prejudices have formed against women.Because of this, there will be a lower average level income for women which of course brings less income to their families.

I believe that in some circumstances certain changes need to happen in order to change the wage gap.I think that it should be promoted that women can be more of reliable workers instead of the stigma that they can be unreliable or not as capable in certain fields.Educators and employers can push this idea to help dull down this stigma for women workers.

I haven't had a great variety of work or jobs so I can't personally say that I've seen a great deal of discrimination based on race, gender, etc.But I'm sure it happens.The company and employers should have a good environment and hopefully give everyone an equal opportunity as long as they can do most of the same things.
