I will analyze Instagram posts from the UCSB Recreation Center. All the posts will likely respond to promoting health and wellness among the student body and university community, and will show followers what the upcoming events are. Pictures and videos could be a formal element which show the facilities, activities, or events happening in recreation center. Also, some hashtags are used to increase the visibility of posts, which also attract the audience who interested in fitness, health, and university life. The primary audience would be students, satff, and faculty in UCSB who interested in fitness and health. Secondary audience would be local community memebers who are interested in recreation center's activities. The author aims to inform the audience about events and opportunities available at the Rec$-$cen. Additionally, the author may try to motivate more people to$$ engage in physical activities. For rhetorical moves, the author uses motivational quotes to encourage followers maintain a healthy lifestyle. Besides this, the author uses high$-$quality pictuers to draw attention and showcase the center's events in an attractive manner. These moves support the author's purpose by engaging the audience's interest and motivation to participate in Rec$-$cen activities, which help Ren$-$cen build a healthier community.
