Creating an Analysis Worksheet

Purpose: To demonstrate the ability to build a worksheet, format a worksheet, embed a column chart, and save a workbook.

Instructions: Perform the tasks below to design and create the Holiday Package Analysis Workbook. Use the data provided in Table. (1 marks each)

1. Using the data in Table, create the worksheet.
2. Use the Metropolitan Theme.
3. Use the Sum button to create the total revenue for each of the four vacation spots and the totals for each of the four vacation packages.
4. Format the worksheet title, HOLIDAY PACKAGE ANALYSIS, as Heading 1 style, and centered across columns A through F.
5. Format the range A2:F8 using the Heading 3 cell style. Use appropriate styles (comma style and currency style) to format the remaining cells so the worksheet displays as shown.
6. Select the range A2:E6 and add the 3-D Pie chart. Apply the Style 8 chart style to the chart. Add a chart title with Vacation: your name and the date.
7. Name the worksheet Vacation. Color the tab blue.
8. Edit the document properties according to the instructions from your instructor. Save the workbook on your disk using the file name, Yourname - Excel - Lab Test A, where Yourname is your own last name.
9. Save the worksheet. Insert a header with your name and today's date. Insert a hyperlink at the bottom of the worksheet for Orlando Disney World. Details are below.
10. Change the amounts for the worksheet. For All Inclusive package for Alaska, add 6,538 to your amount. For Hotel Only in Orlando add 1,787 to your amount and for Tours Plus in Vancouver, add 3,208 to your amount.
11. Add a footer and type in Brighton College Excel Mid Term Exam with (Yourname). Save and upload the worksheet.
