Review the visuals posted by your peers and provide your feedback by answering the following questions:

Are the visuals complete and accurate, representing all required analyses? Explain.

Are their visuals the same as yours? If not, speculate on why there could be differences when you worked with the same data.

Review the executive summaries posted, and answer the following questions:

Are the executive summaries clear, concise, and complete? Identify at least one strength and one area for improvement for each resume.

Do you agree with the findings and recommendations in the summaries? Why or why not?

1.)

Hi Everyone,

I have experience with data analysis as I do quite a bit of population health and work with metrics and quality improvement within my position as a nurse practice manager. The systems I use are Slicer Dicer within the Epic system of electronic health records, McKesson for financials; and Tableau as a new reporting tool for clinic revenues in the past year clinic reporting on communication and gaps in care and productivity of staff. My experience with Tableau during the module four assignment is much different than what I use Tableau for during work since my work is more filtering and reviewing what files the system is pulling for me. I enjoyed having the other view of things you can do by pulling other data and how to build the visuals from the start.

I felt that the assignment had challenges but was fun to put together. It would have been much more challenging if we were not provided the user manual. The last visual made it easier to follow and create charts more quickly. As with anything, practice will make any platform more user-friendly. The only thing I would change is being able to save the information as it is in Tableau to view it.

2.)

I have prior experience with data analysis or visualization. The tool that I have used before is excel. Although I have found Tableau to be simple and easy to use, there are some similarities with excel. The first similarity is that the two are used in data organization, and they help organize and store unprocessed information systematically. Users can use the two to create tables, which can help organize data perfectly. The second similarity is that the two tools can help in graphing. They are perfect for graphing because they can generate a wide range of charts that are used to represent statistical data in a more visual manner. Since the two have procedures and formulae, creating charts is simple and time-saving.

With my previous experience with data analysis, I did not find this assignment challenging. However, it took a bit of time to familiarize me with Tableau. I got the concept, making it easier to complete the assignment. Once I was familiar with its operations, I could quickly generate visuals. The one aspect of my visuals I want to change is the different colors, and I would like to have different colors for various aspects. That was, the graphs would be appealing and easy to understand.
