In this assignment, you will analyze a project, create a WBS$,$ assign durations to the activities of the WBS$,$ calculate the network, set the Critical Path, create the Gantt Chart for the project with dates, and assign resources to the activities.

This assignment applies the relevant Student Learning Outcome $($SLO$)$:

Analyze and develop a schedule using the Critical Path Method $($CPM$)$ for a construction project.

Step$-$by$-$Step Instructions

Based on the drawing information provided in this module, each group should please provide:

Each student will be paired with another student to do this project.

The team will read the project documents and verify if there are any constraints that should be considered in the schedule.

The team will prepare a WBS for the project. $($Start with creating and Excel Table$).$

The team should assign the durations for each activity and the precedence for the network calculation. Please use the table format to indicate the Activities and IPA $($like in the examples in the textbook$).$ As a suggestion, for the activities, it would make things easier if you had the following columns to get started $($Activity$,$ Activity ID $"$A$,$ B$,$ C$,$ etc.", Duration, IPA,$).$

Calculate the network and identify the ES$,$ EF$,$ LS$,$ LF$,$ TF$,$ FF$.$ Add this information to the table you have initiated.

Add a column to the table to indicate the activities that are in the critical path with a Y $($yes$)$ or N $($no$).$

Assuming that the initial date of the project is $06/01/2023$ and considering that the project is performed during business day and not calendar day, add columns to indicate the dates for the ES$,$ EF$,$ LS$,$ LF for each activity.

Now that you have all the information necessary, demonstrate in a Gantt Chart $($in the same spreadsheet$)$ the durations of the activities indicating the dates on the top.

Once the Gantt Chart has been established, allocate the resources to each day of your Gantt Chart.

The team should review the entire work prior to submission and make sure that all backup documentation is attached.

The only part of the project that will be accepted in handwriting is the network calculation, but everything else should be in the electronic format. If you have the resources to scan your calculation in a PDF$,$ that would be even better.

Include a cover sheet with the names of the team members, date it$,$ and write a quick presentation on what is the project, the duration of the project, expected start date and end date of the project.

In this project you are responsible for the landscape, site work, and foundation of the buildings. Buildings to be provided and installed by others.

Only one submission is necessary for the group.

Submissions will be through Canvas.

This assignment will be graded based on teamwork and compliance with each requirement contained in this project instruction. The rubric will be shared with the teams through Canvas in the submission page.
