In this PBL, students are required to build a case study in which various tools and techniques will be applied to exhibit the practical application of what they learn in course of Metrology & Quality Assurance. The methodology chronicles the design, development and implementation of lean strategies. The study involves various contemporary lean strategies, quality tools and offers practicing production/process/manufacturing managers and engineers with a strategic framework for increasing productive efficiency and output.

Lean Tools:

1. 5S
2. 2. Kaizen & Kaizen Blitz
3. Value Stream Mapping etc

Quality Tools:

1. Pareto Chart
2. Cause & Effect Diagram
3. Scatter Diagram etc

The effectiveness of the approach is consequently evaluated for the selected case study, highlighting the benefits the host organization received through this new approach by measuring the effects of implementation.

(P.S. The question demands a scenario in which an organization is selected for a respective product/service. We have to analyze  completely the entire sequence that is generally being carried for that product/service. So, by applying the lean and quality tools (must be carried out) to show the effectiveness of the scenario that is being conducted here for the product/service being offered.

Lastly, it is a comprehensive study so at least 7-8 pages of word must be ensured. Thanks)
