Your main task is to provide a detailed implementation plan for an HRIS application for a company of your choice.
Your instructor will evaluate your efforts while playing the role of a CEO in a professional setting. Your assignment should be produced as if you are submitting it to someone of that stature.
Your final submission must include:
- A project brief (Maximum 2 pages) which must include:
- Challenges met while working on this assignment
- Limitations of your approach
- What would you do differently?
- Why you made those choices
- Define the main HR problem that you would like to solve by conducting a needs analysis (interview, survey, etc.)
- Identify the people impacted by this change
- Identify the process impacted by this change
- Identify the data points impacted by this change
- Estimate benefits and costs ratio (make it up if need be)
- Provide detailed information, volumes, transactions, savings, etc.
- Propose an HRIS vendor
- Select a vendor and explain your choice
- Explain which module(s) you will be signing up for
- Propose a high-level timeline
- List people, resources needed, dates, stages, and dependencies
- Define success
- List risks associated with the project
- Explain how you will mitigate those risks
- Define your change management approach
- Propose an executive dashboard
- List all HR metrics
- Provide a training and development plan

- You must properly identify and cite any images or any work that is not your own in the submission, including but not limited to images, banners, etc. Failure to do so is a breach of Niagaras academic integrity regulations.
