In this reflection assignment, you are going to identify a team you have previously been on, and then identify the personality types of all teammates and yourself. Then you will identify the downfalls associated with each personality, and finally determine some specific behavior changes that you could have made to help reduce the downfalls in other's personalities that would have ultimately helped the team to run successfully. This should be a thought-provoking exercise, to say the least, you will need your critical thinking hat on!

PART 1: APPLY THE TEXTBOOK & THINK CRITICALLY

Identify the Personality Types on Your Team & Their Downfalls

1) Reflect on all of your teammates and yourself within this identified team:

a) Identify one dominant "Big Five" personality trait of each teammate and yourself. Please include names. Please only select dominant personality traits that are considered "high." Therefore, you are only selecting from the following: High Agreeableness, High Conscientiousness, Less Neurotic (yes, this is correct), High Extraversion, and High/More Openness.

For example, "Ben's most dominant personality trait appeared to be high/more openness."

b) Identify a downfall with scoring "high" in this Big Five personality trait that is specific to this person, including yourself (yes, there are downfalls to every one of them).

For example, "A downfall of Ben's high/more openness is ..."

c) Give an example of what this downfall looked like for each person.

For example, "An example of this downfall was when Ben... ."
