Include Microsoft excel file as well as a Slide Show presentation that contains everything in the to-do list below.

Find a set of data you would like to investigate (Team Canada olympics artistic gymnastics statistics over the last 15 years). The data must be quantitative (numerical) and there must be at least 10 years worth of data. Examples: Year VS Number of Smokers in Canada, Year VS Number of People Registered in Apprenticeship Programs in Canada. You can find data at www.statcan.gc.ca or https://data.worldbank.org/ You can also use data from an alternate site (example: If you're interested in hockey you might prefer to use data from http://www.nhl.com/stats/ ). Then open Excel and copy and paste your data into the spreadsheet Right click and paste. It will paste horizontally. To change it so the data is vertical, copy the data again and under Paste options and select "Transpose" - this will show the data vertically instead of horizontally.

To Do List:

Is your data quantitative or qualitative? Discrete or continuous? Explain.

Is your data primary or secondary? Explain.

Use Excel to make an appropriate graph to display your data. Fully label your graph (title, axis titles, etc.)

Does your graph display a specific type of distribution you learned about in this unit (ie. uniform, bimodal, normal, etc)?

Use Excel to compute these measures of central tendency and include them in your slide show: Mean Median Mode Which measure of central tendency best describes the data? Explain. Use Excel to compute the Standard Deviation and state this value in your slide show. What does the standard deviation tell you about the data set? What did you learn about your data set from your graph and/or computations? include at least two precise conclusions.

Cite your data sources

Be very detailed in your explanations and thorough!!
