"Gucci is part of the global luxury group Kering, which manages renowned houses in fashion, leather goods, jewelry, and eyewear. In April 2023, a Gucci employee in Los Angeles posted an unboxing one-minute TikTok video showcasing the company's products provided to her as a new employee. In the caption of the video, she jokingly wondered if she should just keep the bag and disappear! However, once the company became aware of the video, her employment was terminated. The video garnered almost 10 million views and attracted widespread attention from the media and the general public on an international scale. For instance, you can refer to this Insider Inc.'s news article and the comments section of her TikTok video to obtain further insight."

Apply Gibbs' Reflective Cycle to help you go through each step of the self-reflection process. As part of this process, analyse specific types of communication skills you could improve on that might have positively impacted your teamwork and/or needed for your team project topic. Construct a self-reflection paper by drawing the key insights from your self-reflection above, the Unit's Learning Outcomes (ULOs), you're learning and your research on self-reflection/assessment, teamwork, and management communication concepts/theories together.

Introduction: Identify your key learnings and experiences, why they are important, and key themes/insights and their relationships. You can be creative here. You may start with a poem, a picture, or a short storyboard as part of providing a written introduction.

Body: You can then go into detail about those themes/insights and their connections you have introduced.

Your work needs to go beyond simple descriptive writing (e.g., what you did, what happened) and clearly reflect critical components of the Gibbs' Reflective Cycle.

Demonstrate your ability to reflect critically on the learning experience from researching the assigned communication topic, and reflect critically on teamwork or group dynamics.

Issues that you might critically reflect on in your reflection include: the effectiveness (or lack of) of team communication; the communication media used (appropriate or not); the level of commitment displayed by each group member (even - uneven); the workload distribution (was the workload fairly distributed); and/or comments about group leadership or dynamics; and/or other teamwork outcomes. You can also critically reflect on what you learned from working with your team e.g., researching, presenting and preparing a professional report on the allocated topic. Think critically and chronologically (e.g., before, during and after the project and after the unit completion).

Be honest, and truly reflect. For example, a writing work that honestly reflects on your own poor communication skill realised with a solid self development plan learned from the Unit is an example of an honest reflection.

At the end of this section, provide a concrete self-development plan (e.g., what specific types of communication skills you need to develop further, ways to keep practising self-reflections and self-assessments, how, when, and why). This plan can be presented as a Gantt chart table, followed by a discussion.

Conclusion: Restate your key learnings and experiences and make clear concluding remarks that summarise the themes/insights and their relationships.

Please check the appropriate referencing protocol before submitting for grading. Accurate referencing is an essential academic writing skill. Information from the professional literature, professional websites and open internet sources can be used and its use is encouraged as part of your preliminary research and for practical examples. Please note that assignments that are plagiarised from undisclosed sources, copied from another student or are not substantively your own work will receive a fail grade.

Appendix: Include concrete evidence of contributions to the group project (e.g., group project management plan highlighting your contribution - template provided (see example), a table summarising formal meetings your group had including who were present/absent, contributions/actions assigned to team members) and any other materials (e.g., results of related questionnaires used, other evidence of poor contributions of specific team members). These should not add to the workload of this task as they should have been completed during the earlier parts of the group project.
