You work for the Brads Nailer Company which manufactures two types of nailers: a pnuematic model and a cordless model. You have contracted to supply a national retail chain with a total of 24,000 pneumatic nailers and 11,000 cordless nailers. However, Brads nailer production capability is limited in three departments: production, testing, and packaging. The following table summarizes the hours of processing time available and the processing time required by each department, for both types of nailers:

Brads nailer makes its pneumatic nailer in-house for $67 and its cordless nailer for $88. Alternatively, it can buy pneumatic and cordless nailers from another source for $74 and $102, respectively. To mitigate supply chain risks Brad will make at least 9,200 of each nailer. How many pneumatic and cordless nailers should the Brads Nailer Company make and how many should it buy from its competitor in order to fulfill its contract in the least costly manner?
