Post a copy of the item and then answer the following questions: 2. Analyze the fear appeal using the concepts. How does the appeal address the severity of the threat, audience member susceptibility to the threat, a reasonable level of response efficacy, and possible self-efficacy of the presumed target audience? 3. Assess the effectiveness of this fear appeal. How likely is it that a target audience member will heed the warning? How likely is it that they will become defensive and refuse to respond to the appeal? Explain. 4. Address whether, and if so, to what extent, the fear appeal is likely to cause you to change your attitude or behavior as it relates to the topic of the fear appeal.
