Observation Notes: Operator 1: 1st attempt didn't know how to properly use the tools (2:58 mins) 2nd attempt: tightend one bolt prior to preassembly which caused holes not aligne properly (3:19 mins) 3rd attempt: preassembled prior to bolt tighting (1:44 mins); 4th attempt: preassembled more comfortable with tools (1:20 mins) 5th attempt: preassembled and tightened one side prior to moving to other side (1:19 mins) 6th Attempt: preassembled all four bolts and then tightened one side and flipped object over to tight other side to prevent having to reach over (1:06 mins) Operator 1- improved his technique over the course of attempts finding the optimal technique. the speed may not be able to be maintained over an extended period of time. I asses a 1:40 mins pace would be substainable over 8 hr shift Operator 2: pre assembled bolts had problem with power tool and quality (1:29 mins) 2nd attempt : pre assembled all bolts, got complacent and thought he had finised prior to tightening the bolts. (2:45 mins) Operator 2- was not familiar with the tools and lost track of assignment but with the use of power tool he will be more effeciant in maintaining production; I would average 1:20 min pace.
