A frame ABC has a rectangular cross section of dimensions $b=200mm$ and $h=500mm.$ It is subjected to the loads as shown on Figure $4.$ It is required to:

$($a$)$ Determine the normal and shear stresses at points $D$ and $E$ on the cross section of the beam at section a$-$a$.$

$($b$)$ Show the state of stress at points $D$ and $E$ on the cross section of the beam at section $a-a,$ in a differential element at these points.
