when I started this course, I learned that indigenous people preserve their native people's culture and language. Some indigenous peoples share features of settled civilization, such as religion, accents and attire.
knowing about this topic provides me with unique perspective on and understanding of the world. Indigenous people help us to know what our culture is and how we have to respect our culture. It would assist me in shaping our lives, our thoughts and our beliefs. This knowledge would help me understand the importance of indigenous education.
I've noticed that Canada's aboriginal people have a long history. There are some cultural similarities and differences, such as the way they live their lives, speak and dress. As a newcomer to Canada, I'm trying to connect with the local community in order to learn more about their way of life.
I watched the Moodle course reading and videos to learn about this week's topics. I liked the story," The First Words", the best because of the way it presents and shows how people grow in this world. There are many details from which we can know and understand about indigenous people.
This topic is important to me as it teaches us about languages and gives us some perspective into our traditional values and way of thinking. It teaches us how to lead our own lives and the ability to communicate with one another (Maracle, 2010).

The word indigenous demonstrates, according to my viewpoint, a group of people who are holding their rituals and cultural values on the earth. Additionally, they also have different languages compared to the western culture and they are not getting involved with local habitats.
I believe that it would help me to foster various types of cultures and their beliefs and it is very different from our rituals. I can understand the importance of their values. As far as I understand this topic is that Canadian culture is very different rather than my culture. Canadians are not being partialized here with anyone that unique thing.
My perspective is that we would cherish festivals and moments much better than right now we doing as well indigenous here in Canada are very friendly by their nature. I am planning to discuss this topic with my mates and take all the opinions which might be different from mine. After discussing the topic I noticed that we all have almost the same thinking process. We believe that here locals are friendly in terms of communicating. While attending this season I wrote all the things in my book which helps me to refer anytime.
This topic is very crucial for me to understand the gap between indigenous and locals because of their culture, languages, and their past as well as to build a relationship. Apart from that, we need to put focus on their priorities, we should invite them into the cultural activities that help us to build public awareness. Employment can be a great solution for them to be socialized with everyone which helps to make a great bond with them. In addition to this, the government can play to empower this topic, the local authority should encourage their culture and promote it in front of the world in my opinion.
