The textbook suggests that effective IT strategy requires "a strategic assessment of the business' future and IT's role enabling that future", p. 50. This assessment, among other things, feeds into a strategy planning process. This process results in an IT strategy. The textbook defines IT strategy as "the comprehensive bundle of people, processes and technology that will enable the achievement of IT's mission", p. 48. The contents of the IT strategy are then organized as a three-dimensional cube starting on page 60. This implies a direct link between the business' future and one or more of the three dimensions. Briefly describe each of the three dimensions. Then explain how you believe each dimension does or does not directly influence a business' future. You may find that it is possible for each dimension to contain certain sub-components that have a direct influence while other sub-components do not.Be sure to cite specific page numbers when providing textbook references.
