Imagine that senior management have requested you to prepare a brief summary of an issue, including what it is and the latest thinking on it, what are its merits, what are its demerits, will it work, what might be the consequences for an organization of adopting it, or not adopting it and what are the alternatives. Thus the purpose of this is to make a presentation to your management about the issue in a clear, succinct and understandable way; the quality of the information as well as the clarity of the presentation will be assessed; a fancy or gimmicky style will not enhance your presentation but may in fact detract from the clarity and content.
