Productivity as a factor can be measured from all levels of an organization. The fact that it is the ratio of the output produced to the input utilized provides the understanding for optimal considerations even in case of things such as outcome of a learning program, change in labor practices and policies, increase or decrease of a particular resource, inclusion of diversity, etc. almost all aspects of relevance can be measured in terms of productivity at all possible level of the organization. We can measure employee productivity as well as the productivity of the upper management through the use of understanding for their decisions and how it impacted the organization as a result.
