Projects can only be accomplished through people. For this week let's discuss a project which you have led or of which you were a team member.

• What was the project?
• Was it successful?
• What technical tools were used (PERT, GANTT, CPM, etc.)?
• Discuss the team dynamics
• Did the team dynamics help or hurt the project?
• What did this experience teach you?

If you have not been on a formal project, discuss any team you have been a part of using the above as a guide.

My goal for this exercise is to get you thinking in process terms about what needs to be improved and how to go about getting it done. Howcanyour process be improved? How do you go about the task of improvement? What steps are needed to ensure that the improvements become permanent?
