The Star Ltd is responsible in procuring the best deal for the components, the marketing and handling for the export process to Malaysia. Star Ltd engaged with Bright Ltd in Italy for the purchase of the electrical components. The price for the components are 40% higher than the usual market price in Italy. Nonetheless, Star Ltd proceed with the deal with Bright Ltd. Later, Moon Sdn Bhd was informed that the Bright Ltd is the subsidiary to Star Ltd and the deal for the electrical components is not the best deal to offer in the market. Therefore, Moon Sdn Bhd decide to sue Star Ltd. Advice the buyer. [25 Mark]
