Missions

a$.$ Implementation of topic: Define a topic message that include person information

$($name$,$ sex, age$).$ Implement a publisher to publish this topic and a subscriber to

subscribe this topic. Write a launch file to launch the publisher and subscriber node at

once.

b$.$ Implementation of service: Define a service data that include person information

$($name$,$ sex, age$).$ Implement a server to response the service and a client to call this

service. Write a launch file to launch the server and client node at once.

c$.$ Simulation a robot car with camera in gazebo: Build a robot car model with Kinecta

and list the URDF code. Display it in gazebo and use cmd$\_$vel topic to control it$.$ Use

rqt tool to check the view of the camera.

d$.$ Simulation a robot car with Kinect$/$Laser in gazebo: Build a robot car model with

Kinect. Display it in gazebo and use cmd$\_$vel topic to control it$.$ Use rviz tool to check

the data of the Kinect$/$Laser$.$

Specific rules

a$.$ The final assignment is presented in the form of a report. The report should include

two parts. Choose either mission a $($Implementation of topic$)$ or mission $b$

$($Implementation of service$)$ as part one. Choose either mission $c($Simulation a robot

car with camera in gazebo$)$ or mission $d($Simulation a robot car with Kinect$/$Laser in

gazebo$)$ as part two.

b$.$ The implementation process should be illustrated by words and pictures.

c$.$ Full source code should include in the report.
