Business impact Analysis (BIA) is a prerequisite for Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP). It helps the Contingency Planning Coordinator to fully characterize the system requirements, processes, and interdependencies and use this information to determine contingency requirements and priorities. Suppose you are working as a Contingency Planning Coordinator in a reputable organization. You are preparing DR plan for your organization based on the BIA results.
