SECTION A Read the following and answer the questions that follow: CASE STUDY: DECIDING TO START UP When he left school, Somefun trained to be a hairdresser. He had worked in three salons, the latest being the most prestigious and expensive hair -dresser's saloon in town. He has built up his own list of clientele who refuse to have his or her hair done by anyone else and he is now chief stylist where he works. He earns a good salary and excellent tips and gets on well both with his boss and the other employees. Last month, Somefun's Aunt died, and left him with N170,000. At the same time, he found out that suitable premises for a hairdressing business are available for lease on a prime town center site. He is tempted to leave his job and start up on his own, especially as he knows many of his customers will follow him. Somefun's Friend, Debo is in favour of this idea and they have talked nearly every night of the advantages of Somefun setting up on his own. However, his sister, Panla, who is two years older, is worried and she has cautioned Somefun to think carefully about the ambition.
