Students will create a reflection paper to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the theories and practical aspects of management learned in the course. Specifically, students will focus on a personal understanding of these lessons and how those have impacted who the student is as a manager, as well as who the student will become. The assignment is given attention throughout the course with a series of graded steps which are designed to help provide feedback to students throughout the course before the final product is submitted. The main question students are seeking to answer in this assignment is What kind of manager am I today and what kind of manager do I want to be?

Papers: The drafts of the reflection papers should focus on the four main areas of management as outlined in the text. After briefly describing each aspect of management, the student should reflect on three main areas of consideration: (1) the students own strengths in that area; (2) the students own weaknesses in that area; and (3) the impact of the students Christian worldview in how they use (or would use) this aspect of management in managing others in the workplace. In each section, students should find a balance between explaining the concept with scholarly research and reflection on the personal impact on their own style and philosophy of management. The conclusion of the paper should reflect briefly on the lessons learned and the students own personal management philosophy. Papers must have an APA title page and abstract; should be formatted with APA throughout; should have a clear introduction and conclusion, and should have an APA formatted reference page. Papers should be 6-8 pages when finalized and edited well.
