SUBJECT: QUALITY AUDITING

This exercise is based on an audit of a fast food restaurant.

At this point in the course you have planned and outlined your fast food restaurant internal audit, and successfully conducted it! But what's next? Have we really maximized the value of our efforts until we've formalized the results in a written report? And what about all of those suggestions, and findings; of course they'll require action, and that requires organization and planning in itself. This unit discusses these topics, and the units exercise will ask you to apply this knowledge to your audit. Please address the following as it applies to your now conducted(but far from completed) audit:

4) Your audit report, and the documentation around your findings and follow up will of course need to go "somewhere". a) Describe how you would suggest these results are archived. Discuss the advantages of your suggestions. Discuss the shortcomings. b) Discuss how the results will be used in the future. How will you avoid the results simply being "shelved" and forgotten?
