Task: Youll start with a research question in your domain of interest (business administration), develop hypotheses, and operationally define the relevant variables. You will need to fully complete the following steps:

1. Find a research question that is interesting to you and state it properly. Briefly explain (at least a paragraph-long) why the question interests you.

2. List five factors showing why your research question is an important one and discuss these factors. Spend at least a paragraph-long discussion for each factor.

3. Provide a brief theory of what should answer your research question.

4. Develop at least two research hypotheses. Discuss your hypotheses in detail.

a. Are your hypotheses directional or non-directional? Explain.

5. Operationalize your hypotheses:

a. Define the concepts (Conceptual Definition) in these hypotheses separately.

b. Write the operational definitions for the two concepts indicated in each hypothesis.

c. Do you think that the variables you created at this stage truly measure the original concepts in the hypothesis? Discuss with reference to the indicators of reliability and validity.

6. What is your dependent and independent variables in your research hypotheses?

7. What is your unit of analysis in your research hypotheses?

8. Provide a research diagram that outlines the broader model.
