In this Excel Application, you will construct a scatter plot to see if there's a relationship between the HEIGHT and SHOE SIZE variables.

From the given Excel workbook: MATH $1342$ Database.xlsx$,$ create a new worksheet by selecting the $+$ sign at the bottom of the workbook.

Select the HEIGHT column in the main worksheet, and copy it$.$

Paste that column into the new worksheet that you created, in its A column.

Now, select the SHOE SIZE column in the main worksheet, and copy it$.$

Paste that column into the new worksheet that you created, in the B column.

In the new worksheet, you should now have two columns $--$ the A column has the HEIGHTS and the B column has the SHOE SIZES.

Now, to create the scatter plot:

in the new worksheet, highlight all of the data columns in both columns.

Select the INSERT tab at the top.

Select Recommended Charts, and then Scatter $($for some versions of Excel, you can just select Scatter$).$

Format the x$-$axis, by right$-$clicking on one of the x$-$axis values, and selecting Format Axis.

Enter the minimum as $50,$ and leave the maximum.

Write an appropriate Title for your Scatterplot and be sure to label your axes with titles as well.

Add a trendline $($linear regression line$)$:

right$-$click on one of the data points in your scatterplot

select "add trendline"

choose linear $($if not already selected$)$

select to display the equation

select to display the r$2$ value
