After thinking about this week's readings and class discussions, try to pinpoint one overall theme. As there are multiple related concepts and ideas from week one, students' views are likely different. Our views differ due to each of our backgrounds, environmental differences, career stage, and many other factors (e.g., the drive to school). There will not be "one right" answer. Still, there are some wrong answers (e.g., This week's most important theme is that without Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), chaos may develop within the top management team). This may be a theme from an accounting or strategy course, but I doubt this will come up in our course readings.
