what statistical analysis do I use to answer each research question?
There is a set of 56 completed surveys. You must enter the data into an Excel spreadsheet (or any statistics package), determine what data analyses to do, analyze the data using the statistical techniques you practiced in the tutorials, report your conclusions, and make recommendations to your client, BI. Submit a Word file that is a brief (4 pages maximum) report of the answers to the research questions. Copy from Excel into the Word file the data analysis that your conclusion about each of the research questions is based on. Also attach the Excel file, which includes your codebook. The president of the corporation is concerned about work motivation and job satisfaction at BI, and has some research questions that need to be answered. It seems that the culture is a little different than it was when five people worked in the York dining room and everyone knew everyone. You sent out paper surveys to the entire organization (111 employees, 56 males and 55 females). You received 56 surveys back. The survey asks 9 questions about the respondents' attitudes towards their job and towards the employment environment. The survey also contains information on gender, full or part-time employment status, and job classification. To Do... Enter the data into an excel worksheet for analysis (or a statistics package). Be sure to check coding and data entry for accuracy. Remember, I have the surveys too, so your data set should be identical. Make a codebook, indicating what each variable is. Do an appropriate statistical analyses to answer each research question. Different levels of measurement require different statistics, different research questions require different statistics. Review the statistics tutorials, the textbook, the PowerPoints, and other course materials to decide what analyses are appropriate for the data you have and the research question you want to answer. The Research Questions... 1. Is the sample representative of the population? 2. Is the set of "Questions About Your Job" questions and the set of Questions About Your Employment Environment" questions good scales? 3. Do women have more positive attitudes about their job than men? 4. Do men have more positive attitudes about their employment environment than women? 5. Is there a difference between Part-Time and Full-Time employees in their attitudes about their employment environment? 6. Is there a difference between Part-Time and Full-Time employees in their attitudes about their job? 7.
