Working with Encoders This lab normally involves using encoders to control a motor and provide feedback on position and velocity. We would provide a set of motors with a built-in Hall effect quadrature encoder, such as the one below (https://www.pololu.com/product/4752). However, we deemed it unreasonable for everyone to purchase their own motor since this course is remote. Instead, we will be using the DC motor and motor driver included in the lab kit. There is no easy way to build an encoder with what's provided in the kit, so we will only be able to drive the motor without feedback. When purchasing a motor-encoder package, it is important to know how many ticks of the encoder will occur per revolution of the motor or output shaft (encoder resolution)
