Writing the Proposal's Solution Section

Write two or three complete sentences per question in answer to the following. By answering these questions, you will have written a rough draft of the Solution section of your Proposal.

Be sure to save your answers somewhere to help you write your first draft.

1. How can the problem be solved? Try writing down a proposal for a solution in a couple of sentences.

2. What will be the major advantage(s) of your solution? 3. What could be the disadvantages and costs associated with your solution (include monetary and non-monetary costs)?

4. How will the overall benefits of your solution outweigh the disadvantages and costs?

5. What research might you use to help argue the problem section of your proposal?

6. What research might you use to help argue for the solution section of your proposal?
