You know that it$$s best to use a structured interview form to guide the interview, so before conducting the interview you are going to develop situational and behavioral interview questions to determine if the applicant has related experience as described in the task, duties, and responsibilities $($TDRs$)$ of the job description and knowledge, skills, and abilities $($KSAs$)$ identified in the job specifications.

Identify at least three key KSAs and then rate these in importance on a $5-$point scale. Enter this information on the interviewing worksheet found by clicking here Download here. $($Note that some of the information you need on the application regarding job requirements would be found on the resume and$/$or the application. Therefore, you would not need to cover that information in the interview. For example, you do not need to ask the application about his$/$her bachelor$$s degree since the candidate would have provided that information on his$/$her resume or on the application.

Next, develop a behavioral and situational interview question for each of the key dimensions you$$ve identified. $($Refer to the example below.$)$ Normally you would create either a situational question or a behavioral question for each key job dimension. However, I want you to practice writing both types of questions. Remember that behavioral questions focus on past behavior, situational questions focus on what an applicant would do if a situation arose. Describe situations that relate to the job. You will write a total of six questions.
