In the final analysis, I think the wrong decision was made. Even though the IT department was represented by a lazy or incompetent worker, Don should not have been given access to the internal network. Dee’s project was not important enough to justify that risk. Given more time, the IT department could have assigned other personnel or taken other action to create the blog and support her needs.

I think Dee’s schedule expectations were unrealistic.
