Tomatoes have one of highest production volumes in the world and drying is one major process for preservation. Color is an important quality index for consumers. Three factors of storage, each at two levels, are considered in a replicated \(2^{3}\) design.

The response is color as measured by a redness index.

(a) Attach the sample means at the corners of a cube. Comment on any obvious pattern.

(b) Obtain the point estimates of the effects and \(95 \%\) confidence intervals.
