Rationalization, like compromise or justification is a way to fight against the fact that there is something out of place with a thought or a feeling or an action. generalizing is 'so much easier.' You already have a preconceived notion so why look at it from a new perspective?

2. Stereotyping, prejudicial actions and biases become an important part of lives and culture because they are also frequently expressed on TV, in the movies, our friends and family, through social media and much of our beliefs - right or wrong - are formed from these sources. Thoughts?
