As a classroom teacher, what additional component(s) would you include in the reading process that are necessary for student growth, assessment, and improvement in instruction? For example, as a teacher, I would include questioning throughout the reading process as a way to assess student learning. This questioning would include the students questioning one another, asking questions about the text, and the instructor questioning students to gather more about their understanding around the particular text we are focused on at that particular time.
