Bass and Bass (2014) cite the work of Deal and Kennedy (1982),  "The values of what is right, good, and important are more fixed and fully shared by members in a strong culture, and norms are more fully crystallized" . It is a very difficult balancing act at times, but our current positive school culture is created by taking this approach.  We speak a lot about personalizing and individualizing education for our students to promote the most positive results.  The same methodology must be adhered to when considering staff and school culture.
