Develop the basic system along with associated documentation for the following hospital management system case study in Agile mode. We would like to develop a system that helps in the management of hospital. The hospital consists of wards. Each ward can have a max of 10 patients. Each ward is for certain category of patients (eg. Infectious diseases ,burns, leg injury, etc.). There are three operation theatres and a pre- and a post- operative ward. Operations need to be scheduled correctly to avoid clashes and to allow enough time for preparation The employees of the hospital include doctors, nurses, administrators, receptionists. Each patient has a diet and a dosage of medicines associated with him/her . The patients are to be monitored periodically by the nurse on duty. Each patient has a doctor assigned to his/her case, to which the results of the monitoring are reported. The developed system should allow admitting patients, allocation of doctors and wards to patients , scheduling of operation theatres, keep a track of a patients location, what medicine is due next and when? When can he/she be discharged or moved to another ward. And the information stored for a patient should make handing duties over to the next nurse easy. Of these, information about a patient (esp. his/her location) and a doctors availability are likely to be very frequently invoked operations and hence should have low response time. The system is also expected to have the necessary security features that allow only authorized personnel to access/modify information.
