Do you agree with my classmate discussion question below.

Classmate 1 Question I believe the best way to help someone involved in Domestic Violence is simply make time ti listen to the victim, make sure to set aside plenty of time in case the victim decides to open up. Start a Conversation by saying Im worried about you" or Im concerned about your safety" or "I have noticed some changes that concern me" remembering never to force someone to open up until they are ready (At times silence is key). Understanding signs of abuse such as black eyes, bruises on the arms, busted lips, red or purple marks on the neck and sprained wrists. Knowing behavioral signs such as becoming withdrawn or distant, canceling appointments or meetings at the last minute, excessive privacy concerning their personal life and isolating themselves from friends and family.Help the victim find support and resources. Look up telephone numbers for shelters, social services, attorneys, counselors, or support groups. Although I believe there is no right or wrong way to help a victim of domestic violence, you want to avoid doing anything that will make the situation worse such as promising any help that you can't follow through with, blame the victim, pressure the victim and never give up even if they are not willing to open up at first, be patient.
