I am completing a research proposal, so no research has been carried out but I am expected to report statistical data.

My sample size is 300.

150 are men and 150 are women I am comparing the level of aggression.

Here are the suggested tests to be completed using SPSS.

Calculate the alpha level (of .05).

Calculating df. degrees of freedom

Calculate the critical value needed to reject the null hypothesis.

I am unsure of how and what information to put in so that I can receive an output. Please provide step by step instructions on how to get this completed. I am expected to have a table and or graphs of some sort.
