Idea: Our project is a web based application targeting international students in Australia. We the students are basically unaware of our cultural/religious events and functions happening in different universities. There are not such web page applications or platforms on which we can synchronize with which event is happening where. So, we want to develop a website in which all students can have a look at which function is going on in other/same institutes so that interested students can visit their respective events. For example, Muslim students of UOW can see what type of religious events are going on in the holy month of Ramadan in other universities such as UTS, CSU, etc. To create the web application we will use the JavaScript framework AngularJS, which provides an organized strategy, efficient code organization, and reusable components. For the backend, we chose .NET Core to handle user tokens, user registration, and login management for the API. Moreover, AWS will handle authentication/authorization, and SQL will manage the database. This is the idea of the project.
