Question:
MadLibs is a game where you write a story, but then remove some key words – a noun, a verb, an adjective, an adverb. You do not let your player read the story but ask them for the type of word you are then looking for. Once they give you all of the words, you then print the story for them with the words they gave you inserted into the places you removed them and the story turns out fun.
For more information if you have never played, you can read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_Libs (Links to an external site.)
Your assignment is to create a mad libs game. Write a story that is about 10 sentences long. You can borrow from famous fairytales, comic book stories or other stories. The one requirement is that the story be G-Rated. Any story that has content that is inappropriate (content of a sexual nature, racist nature, political nature, violent or has guns, or shows and prejudice towards any group) will be given a F grade.
From your story, remove 5 of the words. You can pick if they are noun, verbs, adjectives or adverbs. Ask the user in a fun way for words to substitute in the story. Ask for each word one at a time. Once you have the words, insert them into the story through string concatenation and then display the story to the user.
Remember to:
- Tell the user the rules to the game
- Ask the user for each word and tell them if you need a noun, a verb, an adjective or an adverb.
- Insert the words appropriately into the story.
- Display the story for the user.
