The Consumer Decision Marketing process consists of problem or need recognition, information search, evaluation of alternatives, purchase, and finally post-purchase behavior. Since these three options are so similar someone could choose one over the other because of a past bad experience, a new item released that they want to try or maybe because they have been going to the one their entire life and don't like switching things up. This step can also include deciding what to get on the menu, Step four is finalizing that decision and making the purchase. The final step five is post-purchase behavior where the consumer is either satisfied or dissatisfied with their decision. Sometimes we think twice about if we made the right decision or maybe there was so many items on the menu to choose from that we wanted to try them all but will have to come back another day to do so. 3.
