Respond to this discussion- During the time when Covid first started, i was working at a Bar Tavern as a Bartender. When buisnesses shut down my boss decided to do some cosmetic changes to the inside of the bar which was essentiallly needed because many things were outdated. During this time most of our bartenders moved on to new jobs or moved away which caused an issue with having very few employees tot end behind the bar/kitchen. After making these cosmetic changes, my boss quickly hired new people so he could reopen as soons as possible. Duting the grand opening a lot of the new and returning customers were happy and excited to see the new look inside. Many peope came just to check out the new and updated look at enjoy a drink with their favorite bartenders. However, the new emplpoyees were untrained, lazy, and brought in old habits from their previous jobs. Many of the customers were unsatisfied with their experiences with these bartenders. I believe the owner was successful in updated the bar but unsuccessful with hiring new bartenders. The strategy my boss used to implement change was a problem-solving strategy, he did not have enough staff
